Slam Poem about Fall by Myleah Herbert

My
red boots
ache to feel
the crunch of the
beautiful read leaves.
My soul aches to be in the
Sparkling orange sky, making
me feel at ease, all my stress
melting away. No more homework,
No more stressing over that over-
due project that you know is worth
like 25% of your grade, Just me
and the cool breeze that brings
me serenity, the warmth of my
wool coat with 7 buttons,
and all my worst fears
swirling into the puddle
I splash into, not
a care in the
world.
Just
me.
